Dr. Megan Kohman, M.D.

About Megan

Dr. Kohman was raised in Andover, Kansas, and knew she wanted to become a physician from the age of five. She obtained her undergraduate education at Kansas State University, where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. She then graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she discovered her passion for obstetrics and gynecology. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident during her final year.

She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and compassionate patient care. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions, supported in their healthcare journey, and empowered to make informed, evidence-based decisions that align with their personal goals and values. She believes every patient deserves an advocate and strives to provide individualized care through every stage of life.

Dr. Kohman enjoys the variety that obstetrics and gynecology offers, from caring for patients during pregnancy and childbirth to providing preventive care, gynecologic treatment, and surgery. She values the opportunity to care for women across every phase of life and considers it a privilege to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients and their families.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kohman enjoys spending time with her husband, Malik, and their dog, Millie. In her free time, she loves traveling, reading, and exploring new restaurants throughout the Kansas City area.
